Treatment 1: local resection refers to partial resection of the intestinal wall in the area where the tumor is located. It is suitable for early stage colon cancer, Dukes'A and partial A1 stage. It is suitable for tumors limited to superficial muscle layer, i.e. Dukes' A and partial A2 stage.

Treatment 3: radical resection of colon cancer refers to complete resection of the primary tumor and removal of lymph nodes up to x station, while histological examination of lymph node metastasis is limited to those below X-1 station. The range of lymph node dissection in radical resection of colon cancer is 1, 2 and 3 stations, which are called D1, D2 and D3 respectively.
