How does gestational hypertension do?
summary
According to the American pregnancy Association, 6-8% of pregnant women suffer from high blood pressure. When systolic blood pressure (high pressure) exceeds 140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure (low pressure) exceeds 90 mmHg, you have high blood pressure. Overweight, pre pregnancy hypertension, multiple births, chronic diseases and (or) poor diet (high salt and high fat) are risk factors for gestational hypertension. Hypertension can lead to a variety of complications (fetal underweight, kidney problems, premature birth and preeclampsia), so measures should be taken to reduce gestational hypertension.
How does gestational hypertension do?
1. Exercise. Women who lack exercise are more likely to have high blood pressure than those who exercise regularly. So whether you're pregnant or in pregnancy, talk to your doctor about starting an exercise program. Exercise more than 30 minutes a day or most days a week. If you're exercising for the first time, choose a low-intensity walk or swim. Consult your doctor before starting an exercise program to make sure certain activities are safe.
2. Monitor body weight. Overweight can cause high blood pressure, so weight gain during pregnancy should be kept in a healthy range. Reasonable diet and regular exercise can control pregnancy weight gain. Preeclampsia is one of the symptoms of pregnancy induced hypertension. Excessive weight gain during pregnancy will lead to its occurrence. It can also cause maternal liver and kidney disease and fetal complications. Overweight also increases the risk of other health problems during pregnancy, such as back pain, extreme fatigue, leg cramps, hemorrhoids, gestational diabetes, heartburn, and joint pain.
3. Reduce stress. Whether pregnant or not, mental stress can lead to elevated blood pressure. Eliminate known stressors as much as possible. Don't overwork during pregnancy. Working more than 41 hours a week increases the risk of high blood pressure. Try relaxation techniques like meditation, imagination and yoga, which can calm your body and mind and help reduce stress
