What is sudden cardiac death

Finally, the vast majority of sudden cardiac death patients have organic heart disease, including coronary heart disease, hypertrophic and dilated cardiomyopathy, valvular heart disease, myocarditis, non atherosclerotic coronary artery abnormalities, invasive lesions, conduction abnormalities (QT prolongation syndrome, heart block) and severe ventricular arrhythmias. In addition, digitalis and quinidine and other drug poisoning can also cause. Most sudden cardiac death is caused by ventricular tachyarrhythmia. Some temporary functional factors, such as ECG instability, platelet aggregation, coronary artery spasm, myocardial ischemia and reperfusion after ischemia, make the original stable cardiac structure unstable. Some factors, such as autonomic nervous system instability, electrolyte imbalance, overwork, emotional depression and the use of drugs causing ventricular arrhythmia, are likely to cause sudden cardiac death, and die without any reaction time.
