summary

I just got married, and I didn't find anything wrong before. Recently, I had a comprehensive physical examination for cervical polyps, and then I went to the hospital for surgery. Let's share with you the treatment of cervical polyps.

Treatment of cervical polyps

First: cervical polyps is a manifestation of chronic cervicitis, more common in married women. Because of chronic inflammation and long-term stimulation, the local mucosa of cervical canal proliferates. Because the uterus tends to exclude foreign bodies, the proliferative mucosa gradually protrudes from the base to the outer mouth of cervix to form polyps. There are two types of cervical polyps, one is from the cervical mucosa, and the other is from the cervicovaginal part.

Second: polyps can be single or multiple, varying in size, more than 1cm in diameter, larger polyps may have certain clinical symptoms, smaller polyps may not have any symptoms, only in gynecological examination was found. Cervical polyps have the possibility of malignant transformation (less than 1%), once diagnosed, polypectomy should be performed, and the specimens should be sent for pathological examination.

Third, polypectomy or electrosurgical resection is feasible. The pedicle of the polyp was clamped with vascular forceps and rotated in one direction to remove the polyp. Small polyps can be removed with vascular forceps, a little compression hemostasis, or a piece of gauze in the neck, 24 hours out. If the polyp is large and the pedicle is thick, the base broken end can be cauterized for hemostasis after removal. If it is multiple, the cervical canal can be dilated slightly, and then the curettage should be done thoroughly. At the same time, the diagnostic curettage should be done.

matters needing attention

Generally speaking, if patients have cervical polyps, it is recommended to use surgical methods to remove polyps as soon as possible. If the polyp can not be treated in time, it is likely to develop into cancer. In this way, the situation will be much more serious. At the same time, it is suggested to develop good living habits.
