What are the procedures of debridement

Step 1: clean the skin: cover the wound with sterile gauze, and then wipe the oil stains around the wound with gasoline or ether. The operator washed his hands and wore gloves according to the routine method, changed the gauze covering the wound, washed the skin with a soft hair brush dipped in disinfectant soap, and rinsed it with cold boiled water. Then change another brush to brush again and dry the skin with sterile gauze. Brush twice for about 10 minutes.

Step 2: clean up the wound, apply anesthesia, dry the skin, disinfect the skin with iodine tincture and alcohol, cover the surgical towel and prepare for the operation. The operator can use alcohol or new Jie Er to eliminate the vacuole hand, wear the operating clothes, wear gloves to clean the wound. Do not avoid wound infection, do not do debridement without disinfection, so that the wound is sprinkled with salt.

Step 3: repair the wound and wash the wound with normal saline again after debridement. According to the degree of pollution, the size and depth of the wound and other specific circumstances, we can decide whether the wound is open or closed, whether it is a primary or delayed suture. For large and deep wounds, drainage strips should be placed during primary suture; for wounds with heavy pollution or special parts that cannot be thoroughly debridement, the suture should be postponed, that is, vaseline gauze strips should be placed in the wound for drainage before debridement, and then sutured after 4-7 days, if the wound tissue is ruddy, without infection or edema.
