Symptoms of eczematoid dermatitis
summary
The inflammation of auricle or ear canal skin is called eczematous dermatitis. Eczema, often involving the auricle and external auditory canal, is characterized by itching, redness, exudation, desquamation, and even secondary infection due to skin rupture.
Symptoms of eczematoid dermatitis
Infectious eczematoid dermatitis is the erosion of the surrounding skin on the basis of the infection focus. The characteristics of acute eczema like lesions such as blisters and pustules are not difficult to diagnose, but they should be distinguished from contact dermatitis, eczema, pustulosis and seborrheic dermatitis.
Before the eruption, there is a chronic suppurative infection. The primary focus can be a blister or pustule, or an inflammatory papule with scales or scabs, or a wet red spot, which often occurs symmetrically in the exposed part. Sometimes the earliest damage is ulcerated abscess, furuncle, carbuncle, sinusitis, chronic otitis media, bedsore, fistula, scabies or ulcers, and it can also be the focus infection of nose, eyes or vagina.
Infectious eczematoid dermatitis is often in the local lesions aggravation, infection around the skin erythema, papules, blisters, pustules, scab, and gradually spread out into pieces of outflow of serous pus eczematoid dermatitis, surface scab. When the symptoms are mild or inflammation subsides, the affected area is dry and desquamated. In severe cases, the affected area can be swollen, erosive, exudative, peripheral obvious erythema, papules, small blisters, pustules and other acute eczematous changes, which become eczematous skin lesions with irregular boundaries. Local lymph nodes tend to be enlarged, with occasional temperature rise. Generalized dermatitis can also occur elsewhere in the body due to its own sensitivity.
matters needing attention
First, use antibiotics to clear the primary infection focus, do antibiotic sensitivity test, in order to select sensitive antibiotics. Prednisone, dexamethasone and other corticosteroids can be used to rapidly relieve severe acute inflammation and stop inappropriate topical drugs. Local in the state of acute wetness, 1 ∶ 5000 ~ 1 ∶ 8000 potassium permanganate solution, 1 ∶ 20 compound aluminum sulfate solution (bro solution) wet compress. When the exudate is reduced, 1% gentian violet solution, gentamicin and other antibiotic solution, lotion or emulsion can be used externally. In the case of chronic dermatitis with little exudation, 10% ichthyolith ointment, baiduobang ointment, erythromycin and chloramphenicol ointment can be used externally.
