Symptoms of plantar fasciitis
summary
Plantar fasciitis refers to the pain caused by the tearing of the fascia under the sole of the foot at the heel. Plantar fasciitis is only a comprehensive concept, which has been rarely used in recent years. In some patients with low back pain, there are some small nodules on the surface of sacrospinal muscle or on the attachment of iliac crest muscle, accompanied by pain and tenderness, sometimes found in the buttock. Because of long-term walking or too flat foot, the plantar fascia is excessively pulled and causes inflammation. Patients often have heel pain, especially when they get out of bed in the morning or stop walking for a long time. Wearing professional health shoes supported by the arch of the foot or combined with physical therapy can treat plantar fasciitis. The more serious cases need to consult a doctor, with anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs, with rest and warm water to soak the feet, which can help the recovery of plantar fasciitis.
Symptoms of plantar fasciitis
Plantar fasciitis is defined as aseptic inflammation of plantar tendons, which is a kind of heel pain. Clinical manifestations: Plantar pain near the heel or foot center, usually slow onset. It is more common in obese middle-aged women and sports lovers, such as professional athletes, dancers and ordinary people who walk long distances.
In addition, people who like to wear soft soled shoes and exercise a lot are also common. The pain is more serious when getting out of bed or walking the first few steps in the morning. The pain can be partially relieved after further activities, but the symptoms can be aggravated after long-term activities.
Swelling of the anteromedial part of the heel was seen during the examination. There was obvious tenderness 2-3cm from the medial calcaneal tubercle and plantar aponeurosis. We should also observe whether there is abnormal foot force line, whether there is tibial varus, foot varus, flat foot, high arch foot, and whether there is contracture of Achilles tendon. X-ray examination: about 50% of the patients could see calcaneal tubercle with bone spur on the plantar side. B ultrasound and MRI examination showed plantar aponeurosis thickening and edema. Some people also show forefoot pain and midfoot pain.
matters needing attention
Patients with plantar fasciitis should not think that walking a healthy path can solve foot pain, but aggravate inflammation. Therefore, people with this problem had better not step on the ground barefoot and avoid walking on uneven roads.
