What is narcosis
summary
Many people refer to poliomyelitis as leprosy, which sounds familiar, but how many people really understand it? So what is leprosy? Now let's introduce how this disease is going on.
What is narcosis
First, the main clinical manifestations of poliomyelitis are fever, sore throat and limb pain. Some patients may have flaccid paralysis. Most of the cases were occult infection and no paralysis. The incidence of children was higher than that of adults. Before the general vaccination, the incidence of infants was more, so it was also called infantile paralysis.
Second: 1-6 days after the disappearance of prodromal symptoms, body temperature rises again, headache, nausea and vomiting are serious, skin redness, temporary bladder sphincter dysfunction, rigidity and burning pain of posterior cervical muscles, trunk and limbs, and constipation is common.
Third: the main lesion is the gray matter of the spinal cord, and the sequelae of paralysis may be found in severe cases. Since the vaccine was used to prevent this disease in the late 50s, the incidence rate has dropped greatly. After smallpox was eradicated in 70s, poliomyelitis has been set to be the next target to be eradicated at the end of this century.
