summary

My wife is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. Now she doesn't dare to walk every day. It's even more serious when it's cold. The doctor prescribed some medicine. After treatment, her condition is under control. Let me share with you why she got rheumatoid arthritis

Why do you get rheumatoid arthritis

First. Genetic factors: incidence rate of rheumatoid arthritis in some families is high. In the crowd survey, we found that human leukocyte antigen (HLA) -dr 4 is related to RF positive patients. HLA study found that DW 4 was associated with RA, and 70% of the patients were HLA DW 4 positive. The patients had susceptibility genes of this point, so heredity may play an important role in the pathogenesis of RA.

Second, immune factors: some experts believe that the onset of rheumatoid arthritis is due to the invasion of infectious agents (bacteria, viruses, mycoplasma, etc.) into the joint cavity, and the use of pathogens as antigens to stimulate plasma cells in synovium or local drainage lymph nodes can produce specific immunoglobulin G antibody. After the formation of antigen antibody complex, the antibody will be transformed into allogeneic, and then stimulate plasma cells to produce new antibodies, which is rheumatoid factor and the high risk factor of rheumatoid arthritis.

Third, environmental factors: Generally speaking, cold, humidity, fatigue, mental trauma, malnutrition, trauma, etc., are often the inducing factors of the disease. According to the statistics of 100 patients with rheumatoid arthritis, most of them were induced by cold (42%) and damp (27%). In addition, there were infection (10%), trauma (8%) and no obvious inducement (13%).

matters needing attention

For patients who are basically cured or under treatment, in addition to insisting on the consolidation of drug treatment, self-care must be strengthened, which is very important to promote the rehabilitation and health of the disease.
