Clear cause of cerebral palsy
summary
Cerebral palsy is a threat to people's health. Some time ago, unfortunate news came from my family. My uncle's child suffered from cerebral palsy. When he was born two or three months ago, he looked very smart, but after three months, he didn't look as good as his peers. Let me tell you the general reason of cerebral palsy! Let us know that cerebral palsy is not terrible!
Clear cause of cerebral palsy
Reason 1: maternal factors: according to the analysis of the US research group, maternal mental retardation is the main risk factor of cerebral palsy, accounting for 2.7 ‰ of cerebral palsy. The second risk factor is the disorder of mother's delivery process. Although there was no direct relationship between maternal smoking and cerebral palsy, compared with non-smoking women, the risk of low birth weight infants in smoking women doubled. Epilepsy in mother, hyperthyroidism before pregnancy, or more than two stillbirths were significantly associated with cerebral palsy. Incidentally, mother's diabetes had nothing to do with cerebral palsy. In addition, pre pregnancy abdominal and pelvic X-ray irradiation, coagulation disorders, nephritis, tuberculosis, gonorrhea, syphilis, leiomyopathy, asthma, organic heart disease and rheumatic fever had nothing to do with cerebral palsy. In the case of ABO system or Rh system blood group incompatibility between mother and infant, the infant and even the fetal red blood cells will have the same immune reaction, that is to say, hemolytic state will occur, the cells in the blood will be destroyed, the infant and even the fetus will have severe jaundice, nuclear jaundice will damage the nerve nucleus and cause cerebral palsy. It is also called nuclear jaundice encephalopathy. The pathogenesis of nuclear jaundice is generally believed to be caused by free bilirubin passing through the blood-brain barrier, because bilirubin cannot pass through the blood-brain barrier after binding with plasma protein. If the blood bilirubin production is too much, such as hemolysis, sepsis, etc., a large number of red blood cells are destroyed or the amount of albumin is too low, there is a part of bilirubin can not combine with albumin to form a free state. This free bilirubin is easy to pass through the blood-brain barrier, settle on the cell membrane and the mitochondrial biofilm, and combine with the phosphorus on the membrane, thus hindering the oxidative phosphorylation of cells, leading to cell necrosis and degeneration. In clinic, the acute phase can cause most patients to die. 90% of the survivors had symptoms or signs of extrapyramidal damage such as hand foot hyperactivity.
The second reason: genetic factors: recent studies suggest that genetic factors play an increasingly important role in cerebral palsy, such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy and mental retardation, accounting for 65% of cerebral palsy. There are chromosomal abnormalities, often manifested as malformations, accompanied by dystonia and dystonia, which constitute many syndromes, such as Down's syndrome.
Reason 3: other factors during pregnancy: infection during pregnancy, physical and chemical factors, fetal ischemia and hypoxia, and maternal nutritional disorders can affect the fetus. The fetal brain develops fastest in the first 3-4 months of pregnancy. If the damage is more serious during this period than in the later period of pregnancy, the residual degree of lesions is not only serious, but also extensive. For example, in the early stage of pregnancy, the mother is attacked by influenza virus, which can affect the fetal brain tissue. In severe cases, the symptoms of cerebral palsy may appear after birth; in the same way, when the mother suffers from influenza in 8-9 months of pregnancy, it is not so serious.
matters needing attention
If there is a child suffering from cerebral palsy at home, it's really very unfortunate. Parents should pay attention to it. It's best to choose a top three hospital for treatment. Now the state has a certain reimbursement policy, and the treatment cost will be reduced a lot. I hope the patient can return to normal as soon as possible.
