Do atomization precautions?
summary
Daily care is steam atomization, steam atomization principle of use: atomization therapy is the use of gas jet principle, the water droplets into small droplets suspended in the gas, the formation of aerosol and into the respiratory tract, in order to humidify the respiratory tract or drug inhalation treatment. Let's share my experience with you.
Do atomization precautions?
Body position: cough up sputum before treatment, so as not to hinder the penetration of droplets. When atomizing inhalation, take sitting position, half sitting position or side lying position, avoid supine position as far as possible, and raise the head of bed by 30 when supine position is necessary °。 During the treatment, the patient needs to inhale slowly and deeply, and stop at the end of the inhalation for a moment, which will make the droplets inhale deeper.
Dosage: fresh preparation of atomized liquid every day. It is usually inhaled for 10-20 minutes each time, 2-3 times a day, with a course of 1-2 weeks. When inhaling, we must start from a small dose and gradually increase the dose after adaptation until all the liquid is inhaled. Do not use a large dose at the beginning, because a large number of cold fog entering the airway will make the airway smooth muscle spasm, resulting in suffocation and dyspnea.
For patients who have been treated with long-term atomization inhalation, the amount of atomization used must be moderate. If the humidification is excessive, it can cause the increase of sputum. When the critical patients are confused or the cough reflex is weakened, the condition may worsen or even die because the sputum can not be coughed up in time. If the humidification is not enough, it is difficult to achieve the purpose of treatment.
matters needing attention
Some drugs used for aerosol inhalation, such as tanyijing, bisolping, a-chymotrypsin and hypertonic saline, can not stimulate the bronchus and cause reflex bronchospasm, especially in patients with bronchial asthma. Therefore, bronchodilators should be inhaled in advance or at the same time when necessary. In particular, patients with persistent asthma should be extra careful.
