Is bladder tumor asymptomatic?
summary
Bladder tumor is the most common type of tumor in urinary system. The patient shows intermittent and whole course hematuria, sometimes accompanied by blood clot. Therefore, intermittent painless gross hematuria is considered as a typical symptom of bladder tumor. So bladder cancer is asymptomatic? Let's talk about it.
Is bladder tumor asymptomatic?
First, bladder stones: through the bladder area X-ray plain film, there is no opaque shadow, can make a preliminary identification. However, bladder tumor with stones is not uncommon. Cystoscopy is the main method. In addition to stones, papillary or villous new organisms can also be seen under cystoscopy. The diagnosis was further confirmed by biopsy.
Second, ureterocele: ureterocele infection can also have hematuria. Cystography showed a negative image in the bladder triangle. Hematuria of ureterocele is rare and less severe than that of bladder tumor. The negative image of cystography was like a snake head, located in the triangle area, with smooth surface. B type ultrasonic examination for cystic tumor, with the discharge of urine, with the change of relaxation and contraction. Cystoscopy showed blister like protrusion at the ureteral orifice, covered by bladder mucosa, clear blood vessels, and peristalsis consistent with urination.
Third, bladder tuberculosis: bladder tuberculosis has a history of renal or pulmonary tuberculosis, low fever, night sweats, loss of appetite and other systemic symptoms. There is pyuria like rice soup. Urine examination, there are a lot of pus cells. 60% of urine tubercle bacillus culture was positive. There were no tumor cells in urine. Cystography and B-mode ultrasonography showed no space occupying lesions in the bladder. Cystoscopy showed that there were inflammatory changes, tuberculous nodules, ulcers and no new organisms in the bladder. Inflammation and ulcer should be differentiated from villous bladder cancer. Biopsy is of great value in differential diagnosis.
