Symptoms of internal heat and depression
Lung heat syndrome: cough, sore throat, vomiting, yellow phlegm, constipation, red urine, chest diaphragm fever. Rule of treatment: clearing the upper and lower parts, purging fire and defecating. Main prescription: light Xiebai powder, Digupi powder, heavy Liangge powder.
Liver heat syndrome: irritability, headache and vertigo, red eyes, tinnitus and deafness, bitter mouth and dry throat. Two flank pain, urine red astringent. Treatment principle: clearing liver and purging fire. Main prescription: Xieqing pill, Chaihu Yinzi, Longdan Xiegan decoction.
Syndrome of spleen heat: eye sores, bad breath, thirst and hunger, thirst for cool drink, dry mouth and dry lips, oral ulcer, constipation, red tongue and pulse number, and tongue heat. Treatment principle: purging spleen and stomach and subduing fire. Main prescription: Xiehuang powder (also known as xiepi powder).
