summary

Many people will snore when they sleep, which will not only affect other people's rest, but also make their sleep quality very poor. Let's share the reasons for snoring.

Why do I snore

Reason 1: airway stenosis: many patients snore when they sleep because of airway stenosis, such as congenital dysplasia of airway, rhinitis, sinusitis, nasal polyps, adenoid hypertrophy, etc. these reasons will cause airway stenosis in nose and throat, and then there will be poor air flow, followed by snoring.

Reason 2: physical obesity: in medicine, obesity is defined as one of the causes of snoring in sleep. This is because of the decrease of nerve excitability and muscle relaxation when sleeping at night. In addition, obese patients often deposit too much fat in the neck. In this case, the pharynx is easy to cause blockage, leading to poor airflow, which will lead to snoring all the time when sleeping.

Reason 3: bad living habits: many snoring patients are caused by bad living habits, such as smoking, drinking and so on.

matters needing attention

Snorers should choose a pillow suitable for their sleep and drink a cup of hot milk as much as possible before going to bed. Don't engage in stimulating activities before going to bed: the activities before going to bed should be mainly gentle, and don't let the mood be too high, because the nerves can't relax immediately, making it impossible to have a stable rest at night. ?
